The main goal of the school is to describe constructions of moduli
spaces of semistable,
principal G-bundles and those of Drinfeld's shtukas,
as well as their compactifications.

Here a more detailed description follows:

Each of these speakers will give four-five lectures
.

These 3 series of lectures will be accompanied by

TWO LECTURES OF JEAN-MARC DREZET:

1. Moduli spaces of sheaves with many automorphisms.

2. Moduli spaces of coherent sheaves on multiple curves.

The lectures will start from an elementary level
          and end with the
          discussion of current research.
They are addressed mainly
          (but not only)
to graduate students in algebraic geometry.

There will be also some time for other participants' talks.

VENUE:
The School will take place at
Banach Center,
Institute of Mathematics, Sniadeckich 8, Warsaw, Poland.
Most probably the lectures will be given in a room on the fourth floor.

Here is a sketchy map of
the neighbourhood of the Institute of Mathematics.
A map of the whole
city is here.
And here is a description how to get to Banach Center.

ACCOMMODATION / SUPPORT / MEALS:
You may be accommodated in guest rooms of Banach Center (Sniadeckich 8)
or in a hotel "Oficyna" (Polna 50, 5 min. walk to Banach Center). The
guest rooms are generally single, with a bathroom shared by two rooms.
However, some rooms are double.

Our financial means allow us probably to pay for an
accommodation for 12 participants from outside from Warsaw.
The rooms are allocated on the "first come first served" basis.

In case you need to look for a hotel by yourself, try the web page:
Warszawa.

As for meals, the Banach Center is situated in the
center of Warsaw in the vicinity of numerous restaurants where participants may
take their meals.
<A
